Carahsoft Marketing Associate Interview Questions
& Process

I had two quick phone call interviews. They call you the first time, then you call them for the second. Neither went super in depth about experiences, most asked about my knowledge about the industry and the company as well as qualifying questions. I'm still currently in the interview process.

This was the most drawn-out, unproductive interview process I've ever gone through. After speaking to the same recruiter 5 different times about the exact same things- background, what I was looking for in a job- she finally set up the "next step interview." Before I could do that though, we had a final call which, again, was just regurgitated information we already talked about. She ended up telling me the questions they would ask and how to answer them which I thought was weird. Even when I told her the answers I would give when asked, she told me different answers to say and rambled off "fun facts" about the company for me to say when asked what I know about Carahsoft. The whole process seems so shady and disingenuine I ended up pulling out my application and declined to move forward. Huge waste of time.

I have a negative outlook on the interview process because it took many more steps than I anticipated and was told about. I remember being asked about things in my experience and resume multiple times. I persistently kept asking the recruiter about the next steps I would take to move forward in the process and even asked about how far I had made it before completion. I was only able to get straightforward answers about how I can prepare for the next step. With not being able to answer my reasonable, yet detailed, questions about the company (questions I believe any HR department could answer), setting wrongful expectations for the interview process, and getting back to me on an inconsistent basis for responses, I do not believe that the recruitment and interview process reflects very well on the company.
