It was very informal. They are looking for honest and efficient people. Most of the questions in the interview where scenarios of what would you do, or how would you detect different type of problems in different types of vehicles.

The owner recruited me, had initial phone conversations which progressed to meeting away from office, then at his office. I should have known better since the interview was mainly him talking, not many questions asked and he cut me off when I did start to answer any questions. My immediate supervisor sat in on the final interview, but he also did not say much, just listened to and agreed with the owner.

The interview process involved a phone call followed by an in-person interview. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up communication regarding the outcome, which was disappointing given the effort put into preparing.
