First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capstone Search Advisors.
Temp to Perm
The office seemed nice, with a lot of paperwork to do before meeting people. The music playing was a bit too loud for me. Meeting the reps for perm and temp jobs seemed nice. The interview went well, and I expected to hear back, which I did. I got a call on Tuesday about a job and an interview for Thursday. After the call, I got an email saying I'd get info soon. The email was sent around 6 pm Wednesday, asking me to call before the Thursday morning interview. The info they sent wasn't specific to the job, just generic stuff for a first-time interviewer. Given my 13 years of experience, I know how to interview. It took a day to get the address and contact name. When I called, they didn't offer any helpful info for the interview. In 2013, sending an email saying 'info coming shortly' is outdated. 'Shortly' doesn't mean a day later. If you ask people to call before an interview, provide specific details. There's no point in calling to give generic info.
- Was not asked any difficult or unexpected question.
Lab Assistant
I had a quick phone chat with a woman who asked me about the kind of jobs I was interested in, my education, and my past work. I then scheduled a Skype call for the next week, but they never called me. I tried calling them and left a message, but they never called back. It was super unprofessional.
- What kind of jobs are you seeking?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Can you tell me about your previous employment history?
Recruiting Coordinator
It was a normal interview process. They really made an effort to make me feel comfortable. They were interested in getting to know me as a person, so they asked a lot of personality-based questions and questions about how I would handle specific situations.
- Why do you think you'd be a good fit for our company?
- They really wanted to get to know you and who you are as a person.
- They asked questions about what you would do in specific situations.
Marketing
I got to Mcintyre ahead of schedule and was welcomed by the receptionists. They asked me to wait for the person I was meeting with. The interviewer was nice and paid attention. It was only about 15 minutes long.
- What makes you stand out from the 20 other people applying for this role?
