First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capstone Real Estate Services.
Data Engineer
The interview process involved both personal and technical questions, including some about indirect leadership. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and nice, and the process was efficient. I can't say much more at this point, but there's nothing bad to report either.
- Can you describe your experience applying data science techniques within private markets?
Property Manager
I had two interviews and they offered me the job. I accepted and was excited to start. A week later, I emailed them twice about the status but got no reply. Then I received an email stating they wanted to rescind the offer without explanation. My references weren't checked, and they gave no valid reason, claiming they were promoting from within. I have never been treated so poorly by a company! Fortunately, I hadn't resigned from my current job yet. Beware of this company; they are very unethical. I feel like I dodged a bullet, though, because if they show so little respect for employees, I can't imagine working there!
- What is your availability to start?
Cash Management Specialist
I applied through a job board, and they got back to me after two days. A treasury analyst reached out and asked me some questions. Then, he mentioned sending a formal questionnaire/application to complete before an in-person interview. I filled out the long application, omitting salary history but stating I'd share it if an offer was made. I sent it back the next day. He went silent and didn't reply to my follow-up email. A month later, I received a rejection email stating they'd chosen someone else. Honestly, I would have preferred no response after he ghosted me.
- What makes you want to work in this position?
Human Resources Coordinator
They were quick to reply to my application and set up an interview. I was working a 9-6 job, so they were accommodating and scheduled me for an 8am meeting before work. That didn't end up working out for me though, as I had no clue how hard it was to find their office and ended up being a bit late because I couldn't locate it initially and had to keep calling until their Receptionist got in at 8am. The HR Manager was super nice and easy to talk to.
- Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
