After they found my resume, they gave me a call to set up an initial interview. The interview didn't really go over the specifics of the job itself, but instead, it was more about my personality, my background, and how well I'd fit into the company culture and the role. While I appreciated getting to know the interviewer and them getting to know me, I didn't really learn much about what the job would actually entail. Following that, I was sent to a computer to complete a personality/aptitude test right there in the office. The interviewer also scheduled the next meeting, mentioning they were confident I'd pass the test. In the subsequent interview, I had to remind him about some details concerning me. We then discussed my test results and how he felt I was a good fit for the position. He then scheduled our next meeting for about a week and a half later and gave me some surveys, explaining that the role was entirely commission-based and that all clients would come from referrals.

- Tell me about your background and your ability to adapt.
- What are your career aspirations?

I was contacted by the recruiter via LinkedIn for a job in their Atlanta office. The first step was a brief phone call that felt more like a scheduling session than an actual interview, mainly to set up an in-person meeting. The in-person interview was quite unusual; I wasn't given much detail about the role. The interviewer repeatedly asked if I had any questions, around 8 times. At the end, he directly stated I lacked passion for the job, which was perceived as impolite. I also learned from a friend that this position is entirely commission-based and involves upfront fees. Additionally, despite assurances of parking validation, I ended up paying $9 for an hour of parking, with only $7 being covered.
- Do you have any questions for me?
- What drives your passion for the financial sector?

I applied online through my university and the internal recruiter reached out. The initial call was casual, focusing on my background and career aspirations. She explained the company and their ideal candidate profile, asking some behavioral questions. We then scheduled an interview with a sales manager. I've had two interviews with the sales manager so far, and I'm planning to schedule my final interview with the general agent soon. I'm ready to accept if an offer is made.
- Would you consider relocating to Atlanta for this position?
- Can you tell me about your background, interests, and future goals?
- How do you feel about a career in sales and interacting with clients?

I had an interview with Capstone Financial Partners. The first part was a 30-minute 1-on-1 meeting, followed by a personality test on the computer. The sales manager seemed friendly and focused on whether I'd be a good fit for the company. The interview didn't go into much detail about the job itself, it was more about me and if I'd fit in. I decided not to proceed to a second interview because I'm looking for a role that isn't primarily sales-based and commission-paid.
