I had three rounds of interviews. First, a phone call with the recruiter that was less than 30 minutes. Then, I met with the hiring manager in person for about 30 minutes, and we toured the building. Finally, I had a 30-minute video call with HR.

So I had this initial chat with HR and honestly, it set off a bunch of alarms. They mentioned that 50-hour weeks were pretty normal and that sometimes it'd stretch to 60. The HR person also dropped a hint that the company was 'quick to fire' and that many people seemed to struggle with a typical work environment. This made me question things, especially since they were talking about 50-60 hour weeks. But, after that first interview, things got better. The folks on the floor didn't really back up the whole 50-60 hour work week thing, and the management seemed approachable and involved. The BIGGEST issue, though, was the communication, which was a total mess. The first interview was fine, and the second was set up right after. But then, it all fell apart. We agreed on a rough timeframe for an in-person interview, and then I didn't hear back for about 2 weeks *after* that period passed. I tried following up during that time, by the way. They finally reached out to reschedule, this time with a director. That interview happened pretty quickly. Then, it was time to schedule chats with the team I'd be working with. After they said they'd gotten good feedback from the director and manager and asked about my availability that week, I once again heard nothing from HR for another 2 weeks (and yep, I followed up again). Finally, we got that interview scheduled. I never heard back after that, so I'm guessing they went with someone else, but given how the whole thing went, who really knows?

First, there was a call with HR. Then a teams call with two accountants. It's really straightforward. They mainly asked about my experience as an accounting clerk. They mainly introduced the company and basically wanted to see if I could handle large volumes of invoices. After that, there was a teams call with the controller. Overall, it was a great interview process.

I had an initial chat with Kevin Klinker. He sent over a scheduling link, but then he didn't show up for the call. I let him know I'd waited 30 minutes and set up a new time. The same thing happened again, and after rescheduling a third time, still nothing. The HR team didn't respond, and I was just ghosted. It was really unprofessional of them not to even reply with an apology for why he missed the calls or to give me any updates.
