It took 3 months to get rejected, and the process was really drawn out with poor communication. Lots of waiting weeks to hear back. The number of discussions was a lot and felt like a sign of a bad recruitment or leadership issue. The interview stages were: a phone screen with HR, then a 2-person panel, followed by a personality test. After that, another 2-person panel, then an assignment (they said 10 hours but it took way longer, though they did pay for it; this seemed key). Then an interview with the CEO, and a couple more chats with the CEO. The assignment involved creating a meeting brief, planning how to get an "impossible" guest for an interview, doing market research and drafting tweets within strict limits, and an analysis of LLM research.

So, there were 3 interview rounds before I got the offer. The questions were mainly about my experience and if I'd be a good culture fit. I also had to do a DISC personality test and they checked my 2 references.

The lead recruiter reached out to set up an interview. After we scheduled, they emailed to cancel but said they'd follow up with next steps for rescheduling. A few days passed without hearing back, so I followed up. I never heard from them again.

I initially applied for a different role but got a call the next day about the front desk coordinator position, which they thought I'd be a great fit for. Since I was looking to switch careers, I accepted. The process began with a 45-minute phone interview with the manager, which felt like it should have been in-person, covering my experience and how I handle difficult situations. Then, I had an in-person interview with that manager and her manager, both of whom were very friendly and asked a lot of scenario-based questions. After about 6 days, they extended an offer for the position.
