GenAI Developer
So I was contacted by HR for a role I didn't apply for, but I had applied to other jobs there. The Hiring Manager asked about my past projects, both professional and personal. He said they were all irrelevant to Data Science. He also asked why I did certain projects, suggesting I only did them to please a manager, which I denied, saying I was just meeting stakeholder needs. He commented that my resume was only relevant 3-4 years ago and asked if I actually get callbacks in India. It felt confrontational and not like an evaluation, maybe even a bit insecure. Constructive feedback would've been fine, but this was just critical without any real feedback.

The interview process had two rounds. First, there was a test on aptitude, reasoning, and analytical thinking. Second, a technical interview to check your QA knowledge, manual and automation skills, and project experience.

We'll start with a call to discuss your background, skills, and motivations. This might include some situational questions or a light technical check. Then there's a final meeting with senior leadership, which might be more strategic, talking about long-term goals and your potential growth here. For tech roles, there's hands-on coding, problem-solving, or whiteboard exercises.
- Can you tell me about the projects you worked on at your previous company?
Software Engineer
The interview process for off-campus placements had a few rounds. First, there was a Computer Based Test that included aptitude and game-based questions. Finally, Round 3 was an HR interview.

- Could you define Normalization in the context of DBMS?
