Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was online via Teams with two Senior Consultants and was scheduled for one hour. First, the company was introduced, and then the interviewers introduced themselves. Afterwards, I was asked to go through my resume and discuss job-relevant experiences. The last part consisted of follow-up questions about my studies, technical knowledge, and how I would handle certain things in specific situations. The interview overall wasn't bad, but it was a very typical interview, hence the neutral rating. I didn't have to do a case study, even though it was announced via email beforehand, and there were no brain teasers.

The first round of the interview is a direct conversation with a Senior Manager. The focus is not on technical questions, but mainly on personal fit. The Senior Manager wants to see if you fit well with the team and the company culture. Questions about motivation, personal goals and values, and soft skills are often asked. This conversation is also used to assess your communication skills and demeanor to see if you are a good fit as a future colleague.
