Digital Marketing Analyst
I applied in early April and was contacted in early June. My initial phone screening went really well. They said I'd hear back the following week, but I didn't get a response until three weeks later to schedule a second interview. I sent over my availability for the next week. Midway through that week, I still hadn't heard anything, so I followed up. I was then told they were no longer looking to fill the position. It's pretty disappointing to get offered a second interview and then find out the role is closed. I really wish there had been better communication. I was super excited about this job and the company.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
Analyst
The interview process was really smooth and everyone was friendly and informative. They asked a lot of questions, but they also gave me plenty of space to talk. I felt comfortable enough to ask about the process, the company's history, what the day-to-day work is like, and the salary.
- Can you tell me about your background and how your career has progressed so far?
Paid Search and Digital
This was a horrible interview process. It was really irresponsible and disorganized. The recruiter scheduled a phone interview but had to reschedule it last minute. I sent the recruiter my availability for the next phone interview, but they never responded about the rescheduling. After two weeks, my emails were finally answered, and we scheduled a phone interview for the following week. I didn't get any calls from the recruiter, and they didn't respond to my follow-up email asking if they were still available to talk. At least have the decency to respond to emails and stop wasting people's time over and over again.

Digital Marketing Assistant
It started with a quick phone screener, followed by two in-person interviews. Everyone was really friendly and made an effort to make me feel comfortable. It seemed like they genuinely wanted me to succeed, even offering tips for the next stage. A big part of the interviews focused on why I'm interested in their work (specifically my connection to the arts). Since the pay is quite low, they're looking for people who are willing to trade salary for a great company culture, coworkers with similar interests, and some small perks.
- Can you share your life story and how specific experiences have shaped you in ways that are relevant to this position?
