Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

The Canvs interview was great! It had three parts: a behavioral phone screen with someone not in tech who explained the whole process clearly, then a behavioral and conceptual onsite with the team and a senior person, and finally a take-home coding challenge. They told me upfront it'd be graded anonymously against others using a rubric they gave me. Everyone was talented and nice, making Canvs seem like a great place to work.

Behavioral Technical

The first phone interview seemed to go well, and they have a unique product in a pretty crowded market. However, the in-person interview was a totally different story. The interviewer was condescending and made it obvious he just wanted to get it over with. He wasn't really interested in digging into my background, made snarky comments about my past quota, and mentioned multiple times he had 8-10 other candidates to see. The whole vibe felt like a 'churn and burn' situation.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The hiring process had two steps. First, there was a cultural interview where they asked about my development background, my future plans, and what I was seeking. Second, after an in-person group/1:1 interview, I had a take-home challenge.
