Software Engineer
So, the interview for the Associate Software Engineer job at Kapiva was pretty straightforward and moved along quickly. First, there was a phone screen where they asked about my background and my technical skills. After that, I had a coding interview where I had to solve some problems using Java and algorithms, and then a system design interview. The last part was a behavioral interview with HR to see if I'd fit in with the company culture and what my expectations were. All in all, the interviewers were professional, and the whole thing was well-organized, focusing on both my technical abilities and how I interact with people.
- Can you describe how you'd tackle a tough coding problem that uses algorithms?
- They asked about my experience with Git and collaborating with others on development projects.
Business Analyst
It wasn't too tough. The first two steps were phone calls, then I had a virtual meeting with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview. I was interviewing for a contract position with one of Canvas's biggest clients and got the offer.
- What are your strategies for handling challenging stakeholders?
Account Manager
So the hiring and interview process went something like this: First, there was an initial HR call with me, which was about 30-45 minutes. Then, I had phone screenings with individual Account Managers. After that, I spoke with the VP of Canvas over the phone. Lastly, if it was necessary, there was a face-to-face interview.
- What attracts you to the staffing industry?
Business Analyst
First there was an induction that included a face-to-face behavioral interview. Then there was a screening test to check communication skills, gestures, confidence, and job attitude.
- Tell me about yourself (behavioral).
