Had a phone interview with some standard questions, then two in-person interviews. The in-person ones felt pretty laid back, like the interviewers weren't super prepared and didn't have a set list of questions. They offered the job but wouldn't budge on the salary at all.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

So I had 5 interviews total. First was a 30-min discovery call about my resume and skills. Then another 30-min call with a team member where they asked standard questions. The 3rd interview was a 1-hour call with a manager, and I had to prep a presentation for it (which took me 15 hours of unpaid work, btw). After that, there was a 4th interview, another 1-hour call with a manager. The 5th and final interview was 30 minutes long. Then I got a standard email saying they went with someone else and then radio silence. HR gave zero feedback and there are no options to be considered for other roles. Companies really need to stop asking for unpaid presentations and business plans, it's not ethical and a huge waste of time.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and got a phone call interview really fast, like within the same week. Then, about two weeks after that, I had an in-person interview. It was alright, two production managers were there. We didn't have a set room, so we just used a conference room, which was about to be used for another meeting by the end. I answered everything they asked, and I think it went okay. It's been about a month since then, and I haven't heard anything back. I've been emailing HR weekly to check on the job status, and they keep sending back automated replies saying they're still deciding who to hire.

Behavioral Presentation Case

The first interview was a standard get-to-know-you chat with the Brand Manager I might work under. The second interview involved a presentation on a speaker event strategy. It felt like they were asking me to do free consulting work. I had done my homework on their past events and knew they likely had contact lists from them. I mentioned this during my presentation to the Marketing Manager (my potential manager's boss). They seemed very unhappy with my presentation, speaking briefly, not asking many questions, and looking eager to leave. They did ask for all copies of my presentation and notes before I left. I didn't get the job, and I felt exploited.
