I connected with the hiring manager on LinkedIn, who then scheduled an initial call with a team member. Following that, there was a panel interview with the team where I was asked to build an app using ReactJS and demonstrate various skills from my resume.

The interview had a few parts: first, a chat with a technical recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a HackerRank test that took about 90 minutes, which was okay, but the last question was tough and I only got some tests to pass. The final part was a 2-hour virtual onsite panel interview over Microsoft Teams. Everyone was pretty nice. They did some whiteboard coding, asking me to solve an anagram problem in C++. I didn't hear back after the virtual onsite.

The interview process started with a Hackerrank assessment that had one super easy question and three really hard ones. Then there was a regular technical phone screen. After that, I had a take-home project where I was given a full app to build in just three hours – you'd really need boilerplate code to finish on time. The final interview was a panel, pretty standard stuff. It was weird though, half the interviewers didn't have their cameras on. Some people were friendly, others were cold and unwelcoming. After the last interview, I never got a response, even after sending two follow-up emails, which felt unprofessional. Apparently, this isn't uncommon based on other reviews. It was also strange that none of the people I talked to seemed interested in cars, given it's a car company.
