My experience with Canonical was terrible. I never heard back from them and didn't even get an automated rejection email. After investing so much time, I expected at least some form of notification. While good companies would send a personalized email or call, Canonical provided nothing. I followed up via email, but my messages were ignored. I'm aware of the lengthy process from others' experiences, but a rejection notification after eight interviews should be the minimum. I've accepted their attitude and am glad I didn't join a company with such values. Whether it's arrogance, a toxic culture, or people being overloaded, it's not a place I'd be happy. The online comments seem accurate. If you're interested, be aware the process is long and difficult, and they won't even bother to reject you after months of work, written tests, and multiple interviews.

It started with some tests and then a few rounds of interviews. The people I talked to were all nice and professional. This company has high standards and is picky about who they hire. It took me about three months from start to finish to get rejected. I think if I had continued until I got an offer, it would have taken six months. Even after I was rejected, they sent out a long survey for feedback. I really appreciate the effort both the company and the candidates put into this. The company's success depends on hiring high-quality people, so they can't afford to cut corners. I think they should keep this thorough process to maintain their high standards.
