The hiring process took a while, spanning about six weeks. For some interviews, I had to travel for more than two hours. Even though the job is remote, the first few months will require working from the office on a hybrid schedule.

The interview process was pretty long and involved meeting many team members, but it was a good experience overall. A decision was made quickly after my final interview.

I first chatted with HR on the phone about my resume and experiences to see where I'd fit. It went well, and I was excited for the in-person interview. The in-person part was good for meeting different people and learning about various company aspects. Some interviewers were nice, but others seemed fake or insincere. I didn't get a clear idea of the job or how departments connect. HR said they'd have an answer soon but never followed up with feedback. It left me with a bad impression.

I filled out the online application, which was pretty straightforward. After that, I got a call and was able to set up my interview. The interview itself involved meeting with three different people one-on-one, so it was like three interviews back-to-back. It was a bit tricky to gauge my performance with the first interviewer. The second one was more chatty and seemed to engage more. The third person I spoke with was really great, very open and genuine. The whole thing lasted about an hour and a half, and I got a ton of information. The last interviewer mentioned I could reach out to them with any questions or to check on the status. I sent a thank-you note and left a message. Then, on Monday, I got a call saying I didn't get the job, even though they mentioned I impressed everyone and seemed like a good fit. The person they hired just had more experience. I did appreciate getting the update and feedback.
