Applied online and got a call a few days later to set up a phone chat. Then met with the current trainer and another trainer who had just been hired. They were super open about everything and answered all my questions. After that, I went to an Info Session for a high-level overview of the company, followed by a presentation. We also had to prep a 5-minute workout for the Leader Trainers to check our skills. Some people got a yes, others a 'not right now,' but everyone was encouraged to keep working on their skills and try again. Then I started attending workouts, co-training, and selling discounted 1-month camps. Once all those steps were done, I attended the Trainer Academy in Austin, which had a cost to cover food, but it showed who was really serious. This event really confirmed it for me; Camp Gladiator showed so much attention to detail, passion, and motivation to make an impact. At the Academy, I got the final 'yes' to find my own locations and start camps when I'm ready!

The process to become a partner trainer at Camp Gladiator is extensive because you're essentially becoming a business owner. It starts with an Area Director Interview, followed by a Field Audition. Then, you need to attend 10 camp sessions and sell $690 in revenue. After that, you'll co-lead 10 boot camps and create a Business Plan. The next steps involve attending business training, called Academy, and then a Field Audition at the Academy. Finally, you'll set up location partnerships and launch.

I applied online and got an email to set up a phone interview within 24 hours. I had a short phone call with someone who said they were a recruiter but also seemed to be a trainer. They scheduled an "info session" followed by a "field interview." The info session was in a room with about 20 people. Two leaders gave an hour-long presentation, then we did a workout where each trainer led for a couple of minutes. After that, the people who got a "yes" were asked to stay, while the rest were thanked and sent home. The "yes" group then scheduled a second interview with the Vice President, which was a 30-minute one-on-one meeting. Then likely background check and offer.

The whole process was very unorganized. When it was time for the interview, I assumed the Marketing Manager that I was interviewing with would call since I never received a link to a Google Meetup/Zoom call. However, five seconds before the interview she sent over a link via email for a video conference call. She was very cold and direct, with no personal questions thrown in for good measure as you have with most other companies. I definitely ended the call thinking I would not want to work for the company or under her. Three weeks later I hadn't received an email or call back. Of course, at this point, I realized that they had probably moved on. It seemed like they wanted someone well-versed in Salesforce and I'm not, which is fair. I ended up having to email her back and 2 days later FINALLY got a canned response about how they decided not to move forward with me.
