Once I got to Camp Bow Wow's office, the receptionist checked me in and I hung out in the lounge for a bit. First up was a chat with HR about my past experience and what I bring to the table. Then, I had to take a test to see how good I am at sales and management stuff. After that, I met with a group of people for an interview where they asked how I'd deal with different sales situations. Later on, there was a more relaxed part where they showed me around the place and I got to meet the team and some dogs, to see if I'd fit in. The last step was talking one-on-one with the Sales Director about the details and what happens next. It felt like they really wanted to make sure I had the skills and would be a good fit for the company.

I came in and right away loved the atmosphere. They hired me on the spot! First, I spent an hour in the yard with the dogs to see how I'd handle them, which I did great. Then, they showed me around the facility and explained how things work. After the tour, I sat with the assistant manager and we talked about basic interview questions like my previous work experience and what would make me a good fit for the front desk role. Everything went smoothly, and when I got home, the director called to offer me the job. I've been happy ever since.

I got an email to set up a phone interview and picked a date, and that's when the manager called. I was actually on vacation during the interview. Apparently my phone hung up because the connection wasn't right, and even when I tried to call back, it wouldn't make the call. I got an email the next day from the manager saying I seemed a little occupied at the moment, and I never got a second chance for an interview.
