I interviewed with a woman from HR and a male employee. They asked the usual interview questions - strengths, weaknesses, etcetera. They wanted to know about my experience working in a group and seemed pretty interested in my responses to those questions. The man also asked if I was familiar with the 'Six-Sigma' concepts. I had no idea what he was talking about. Apparently, they had an informational meeting on our campus the night prior, and I had heard nothing about it. I think that really worked against me, but what can you do? Also, it took over a month for them to get back to me.

I first spoke with recruiters at a career fair and gave them my resume. That evening, I attended an info session to learn more about the company and spoke with the same recruiters again; I feel like this showed my interest. I received a call back shortly after for an onsite interview. During the onsite, I met with the same people I had spoken to earlier and answered their questions. A few days later, I got an email saying I was selected for a second round.

After signing up for regular campus interviews, you get an email a week later about moving to the second round. The second round is in Houston at a hotel. The night before, you go out to dinner with recruiters and employees, along with everyone else invited to the second round interviews. The next morning, you give a 10-minute presentation about yourself, followed immediately by three 30-minute 1-on-1 interviews. They ask mostly behavioral questions.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What is your definition of quality?
  • Can you share an experience where you encountered a challenge and how you successfully navigated it?
