Assistant Professor
We did a zoom interview to make a short list of about 3 candidates. Then, the chosen candidates came to campus for a teaching demo and an in-person interview with the department, dean, and VPAA. We will offer the position to the best person.
- How would you approach teaching a class composed of first-generation college students?

The interview process started with a chat with the search committee. Then, there was a teaching demo for the business school faculty, and finally, I met with the dean and vice president. Everyone was super nice. The faculty were more interested in my teaching than my research.

It was a friendly and open interview. Most of the questions were about customer support. The few tech questions were general to see if I understood technology. It wasn't too hard.
