First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Camelback Resort.
Team Member
You will have basic questions with the manager of the location you want to work at (like food and beverage, lifeguard, etc.). It was a pretty easy process. The environment was friendly and the application and hiring process was well organized.
- What makes you want to work for Camelbeach?
Manager
It was an extensive, all-day interview process, totaling 8 hours for a lower-level leadership role. There were four separate interviews, with about 30 minutes break in between each. They were thorough.
- Were standard interview questions asked?
Ski Instructor
It was a quick interview, just one-on-one with some basic questions. They wanted to make sure I had the industry knowledge and skills for the job. You gotta be a people person and have patience, especially since clients can be small children, so patience and a good demeanor are super important. I had to talk about my past experience and how I've dealt with tough and stressful times before.
- What's your skiing ability level?
Front Desk Agent
The interview process was really fast. I first interviewed at a job fair in a hotel nearby. Then I talked to someone whose position wasn't clear. After that, I was invited back for a second interview. This time, I met with two Front Office managers and the Director of Front Office. This second part was quick too.
- Can you describe your previous job responsibilities?
