I got an email to come to a school for an interview. I didn't know who would interview me. A lady with some parents asked who I was looking for, and I told her. She took me to a principal's office without introducing herself. I was told to set up and give a 5-minute lesson. No students were there, just her. She didn't mention she was from the SD offices. She asked a lot of personal questions about my living situation and why I left a big public school. I felt like she was judging me. The job is still available.

After submitting an extensive online application with several short essay questions, I got an interview invitation a few days later. The interview was a 30-minute slot that included a 5-minute demo lesson for administrators and some questions. They said I'd hear back in about a week.

I had an interview with a group of three people. They were a diverse group. First, I had to complete a written essay. Then, there was an in-person session where they asked a series of questions. It was kind of a round-robin style, with each person taking turns asking questions. The group also gave me a chance to ask questions about the position and what the responsibilities would be.
