Software Engineer
The HR folks were good and kept me in the loop, telling me what to expect and updating me. The process was really organized, starting with the HR call, then some tech tests, talking with the team and manager, and then a final chat with leadership about culture fit. It felt like each step was necessary. Everyone I talked to was nice and seemed genuinely interested. The technical questions were tough but fair, more about solving actual problems than random brain teasers. Scheduling was easy and they gave feedback pretty quickly. It was a good experience overall, made me feel positive about the company. It would've been cool to know more about the role and career path earlier on, though.

Data Systems Engineer
I got a hackerrank test first which had SQL, Python and some maths questions about probability and statistics, both SQL and Python were of medium difficulty. Then there was a Technical Interview where we again discussed python, sql stuff and also my previous experience. After that, I had a Hiring Manager round which consisted of a bunch of situation based questions. Finally, there was a Senior Eng director round with another situation based question and questions about my past experience. All rounds went well and were scheduled in the same week. HR told me my position is put on hold and they will get back in 1-2 weeks, but there was no response. It was a really good interview and went well, but I am pretty much disappointed with holding my position for some unknown reason.
- medium level sql questions
- medium level python questions
Technical Writer
The first interview was with the recruiter for about an hour, where they checked my general fit for the role and asked about my salary expectations and earliest possible start date. The second interview was also an hour long with the Tech Writer team lead. This interview focused more on technical aspects, my relevant past experience, and some soft skills. Following this, I was given a homework assignment tailored to the job. The third interview, lasting an hour, involved meeting another Senior Tech Writer and a general Manager. They asked questions similar to the second round, covering both technical and soft skills, which felt a bit repetitive. After this, I never heard back from the company, and my emails about the recruitment status went unanswered. I was disappointed not by not being selected, but by the lack of responsiveness, transparency, and communication, which contrasted with their initial impression.

Principal Product Manager
CMT reached out for an interview within two weeks of my online application. The interview process involved a 30-minute recruiter chat, a 45-minute chat with the hiring manager, and then a 3-45 minute panel interview. After that, there was a take-home assignment with a 45-minute presentation. They gave me 2-3 days to finish it. The whole thing took over a month. Communication was good throughout, even for the finalist round. But after the final presentation, which went great, it was radio silence. I sent follow-up emails, but the rejection came in a generic email, not even a quick call. It felt disrespectful, especially since I was a finalist, and they didn't offer any feedback for improvement. I initially wanted to apply for other roles, but this experience made me stop.
