Went through 9 interviews with over 12 people, sometimes seeing the same person twice. Started with a casual chat with the director, then a phone screen with HR. After that, had several in-person or Zoom meetings with different teams, managers, and colleagues. The salary expectations discussed and agreed upon early on were not met in the end. They made an offer significantly lower than initially discussed and wouldn't negotiate. It was a pretty frustrating and time-wasting experience for everyone.

I met with several members of a team (copywriter, art director, designer, account exec, etc.) over the course of the day for one-on-one discussions to talk about my past experience/career interests and goals, what CB is about, the interviewer's role in the team, etc. Lunch was included. After the interview, I did not hear back from any of the seven people I spoke to during the day (save for one interviewer who responded to the thank-you email I sent).

Behavioral Technical

I spent an entire day in January 2015 interviewing with ten people at Cambridge Biomarketing. Their office is an open setup. The HR person, who must have seen me moving between different offices, never even introduced herself. She actually canceled the last interview of the day with me so she could leave early. These were the strangest and rudest interviews I've ever had. The company seemed to expect a lot from candidates but hasn't even managed to send a simple email or make a phone call. Given my years of experience in all media, plus awards and results, I can only guess that Cambridge Biomarketing has an issue with age.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was very structured and well-organized. I enjoyed meeting with everyone and learning more about the agency. The work they do is incredibly meaningful and the people are nice. I felt very welcomed and that my time was valued.
