First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cambay Consulting.
Solutions Architect
It was a nice interview process, they respond in good time. There were 2-3 levels, depending on what they need. The first level was to assess your skill set for the role, and the next was to assess your company fit. I would recommend.
- In a given scenario, what would you say your proficiency level is for a particular skill?
Technical Support Analyst
I was contacted by a company for a government contract role, which is unusual for me as I usually deal with overseas recruiting firms. The interview process was a nightmare. They asked me to send sensitive personal information like my Social Security number, birth certificate, driver's license, and direct deposit details via email without any secure method. Once I started talking to HR, I realized this company might be shady, even though they claimed their HQ was in Texas. The recruiters' names seemed fake, and I could hear city and animal noises in the background, suggesting they weren't in EST. HR was disorganized, constantly asking for the same information. After providing everything, I felt like I almost got scammed. When I asked for a small sign-on bonus, they seemed taken aback, realizing I might back out since I was shortlisted. They then put me in touch with someone who assured me Cambay consulting was legitimate and had placed many people in government contracts. However, within 24 hours, my eBay, PayPal, Email, and Amazon accounts were compromised with fraudulent transactions, seemingly because my information was sold on the dark web after they lost my contract.

Network Security Engineer
After applying online, there was a resume review and screening. Then an interview was scheduled. After that came decision making, negotiations, and finally hiring process completion. The interview flow was pretty straight and to the point. It started with an introduction, then technical, then HR, then position expectations were discussed, and finally questions & answers. They explained the position expectations very much in detail. Post this the offer was made and the background process took just couple of days and onboarding was completed in a week.
- All questions were technical, or tested personality, or problem approaching skills.
Healthcare Recruiter
The interview process was quite straightforward. Initially, an HR representative contacted me on LinkedIn and arranged an in-person interview at the Noida office in March 2020. I received an offer, but it was rescinded due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Subsequently, in June 2020, the HR team reached out again and scheduled a telephonic interview with the Recruitment Manager. After passing that, I had another telephonic round with the AVP, and then I was offered the position.
