First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Calpion.
Talent Acquisition Team Lead
The interview process was professional, welcoming, and structured. Communication was clear, and interactions were respectful. I received constructive feedback, which made me feel comfortable and confident about the opportunity. It really showed me the company's values.
- Can you introduce yourself, discuss your past work, and highlight your expertise?
Medical Coder
The interview is about 20 to 30 minutes long, and they primarily ask about your experience with different programs. It starts with HR questions, then moves to technical questions. The HR questions focus on why they should hire you, your notice period, if you're willing to relocate, and if you'll work from the office.
- Can you explain the MDM table?
- Could you describe procedures in the ED?
- What can you tell me about fracture care, fracture reduction, and moderate sedation?
Contract Manager
I had a level one interview and got selected. Then there was an HR round and background verification, followed by package discussion. After that, they informed me about another interview level. In this second interview, a lady asked me many questions repeatedly and unnecessarily. After about 15 minutes, another person joined and asked the same three questions that the lady had already asked, and then he left. I felt it was unprofessional. They seemed to be giving people hope and then withdrawing it. I've never had such a bad experience. The lady took almost a week to provide interview updates.
- They asked about the process.
Administrative Assistant
I had a phone screen and then two interviews all within a week. Thomas called me in for what I thought was the last interview, but it turned out to be just a recap of our first interview because he forgot my answers. After the interview, he said I should hear back by Tuesday, but it's been over two weeks and I still haven't heard anything from Calpion. I even sent a follow-up email that was ignored. They did send questionnaires to my references, which took them time to complete. I had to leave work early twice for interviews, and I always replied to their emails quickly. I think they should have let me know either way, and I'm pretty disappointed with how Calpion handled their interview process.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Why do you want to work here?
