I had a group interview for an admissions position a few years back. During the Q&A, I was the only one speaking up initially, and the others seemed shy. Despite taking the lead in the conversation, I wasn't offered the job and was told to reapply in a year. Ironically, others from my group were hired. It was quite disappointing.

I saw the job ad on Glassdoor and applied. Then I got an email for an interview. It was a group interview. After checking in, we all went to a computer room for an online interview/assessment that lasted at least 2 hours. Once you finished, you could leave and wait for the next step.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Questions were very similar to a standard online assessment interview, including scenario-based and character/personality-related questions.

I applied online and got a call from HR really fast, like 10-20 mins after, to set up a group interview. When I got there, there were 5 other people and a couple of managers. We had to build a toy based on some rules and then solve some made-up park problems as a group. After that, they took us to a room to talk individually with supervisors from our departments. That's where they offer you the job or not. If you get the job, you do paperwork, set up a drug test, and authorize a background check. Then you come back for document processing, get your uniform, and get set up for orientation where you start getting paid.

  • What's your plan if a guest with a baby has food in a busy restaurant?
