Graduate Assistant
The interview was pretty easy and they asked straightforward questions. I also had to do an Excel test and a writing test. It was mostly behavioral questions, like asking what would make me a good fit and why I want to work there. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

So, the state uses this interview process where they do a panel interview. The panel asks all the applicants the same general questions. As they're listening to your answers, you'll notice they're writing things down. They're actually tallying the keywords you say as you answer the questions. That's how they judge you.

The interview was pretty straightforward, mainly behavioral questions. For the accounting department specifically, it was a positive and enjoyable experience. Just engage with the interviewers, and you'll do well.
