Digital Designer
The interview process was pretty simple and the team was really nice. It was just one round, a panel interview, which felt more like a chat. They wanted to see if your skills and how you work fit what they need.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- What about this project excites you the most?
- Have you designed task management tools before?
Associate Director
It was a really well thought out interview process with people from different departments involved. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person and also assessing my skills, which was a nice change. I felt comfortable being open and that my input was heard.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with conflict within a team and how you managed it?
Program Manager, Public Relations
I only got through the first phone interview and then got ghosted. I interviewed on a Monday and they said I'd know the status by the end of the week or beginning of next week. Mid next week came around so I sent a follow-up email to see if I could get an update. I waited an extra week and a half but got no reply. I wasn't sure if I'd get another interview but I would've liked at least some confirmation or communication.
- Can you tell me about your previous role and how it relates to this position?
- What are your thoughts on this role?
Director of Annual Giving
I applied for the Director of Annual Giving role via the organization's website and also had an internal referral. The hiring manager reached out and scheduled a phone interview. They've been having trouble finding candidates with the right mix of skills and experience since the summer. The person I spoke with was intelligent, friendly, and well-organized. I'm still in the running for the position.
- Can you describe your fundraising skills and experience?
- How would you describe your understanding of data analytics?
