The interview was held remotely. I talked with the assistant dean of the program. It lasted around 20-30 minutes. It was a very comfortable and casual process. I received an offer about an hour after the interview, which I accepted.

The interview was a full day commitment, and it's not for everyone. This institution has very specific requirements: you must join a particular church, agree with their specific interpretation of evolution (it's unclear if it's creationist or mixes science), and adhere to a strict code of conduct. Unfortunately, most interviewers didn't seem interested in me that day. While they were polite and professional, only one prospective colleague was actively engaged in the conversation.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied on their website about a month ago and then got an email for a phone interview. It was right before Christmas break when I did the phone interview, just a few days after I got their response. In January I met with the department chair, and then a week later I met with the Dean. They told me upfront they were hiring for the next fall, so I didn't expect to hear back quickly. In June, I was offered two classes.
