It was a pretty standard process. First, I met with the hiring manager. If I got invited, then I had an onsite interview. HR was pretty timely with communication. It feels like a vibrant scientific community, working on a variety of topics to fight aging.

The interview process was spread out over several steps, so it took about 6 weeks from application to the final stages. After the HR/recruiter call, the process involved further scientific/technical interviews with the hiring manager (HM) and another technical expert. This led to the research seminar and interviews with several (about 8-10) members of the cross-functional team. The final interview panel discussed several scientific questions from the seminar as well as behavioral questions to assess fit and alignment with company/team goals and mission.

Presentation

I had two phone interviews, and then a presentation over zoom/skype to a group of people. They wanted me to propose 3 projects I'd want to do if hired. I mean, my ideas weren't exactly groundbreaking, but hey, I'm used to getting paid for my work. Makes you wonder if they're doing this to crowdsource project ideas.
