Staff Mobile Engineer
I had a first call with a recruiter to chat about my past work experience and what the rest of the interview process would look like. After that, I did a technical interview on Coderbyte using React. The task was to build a button and a search input field, then test it by isolating and repeating searches for specific keys. I felt like I was a bit slow and the interviewer had to guide me, which I thought might hurt my chances, but they still set up the next interview. There were four more interviews after that, the last one with the CTO. Ultimately, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward and cited the second interview as the reason. They mentioned they had selected another candidate, but the job is still up on their website almost a month later.
- What are your strategies for managing a team comprised of individuals with diverse stakeholder perspectives and potentially conflicting opinions?
Health Coach
The whole process took around 4 weeks. First, there was a one-way video interview with some behavioral questions. If you pass that, you get a 15-minute call with a recruiter. They talk about the daily tasks, the company vibe, and ask about your background and skills. Next up is a mock coaching interview, lasting 45 minutes in total, with a 15-minute coaching session. The last step is an interview with the VP of coaching or the CEO. They really seem to care about finding the right people, and everyone I met was super enthusiastic about the company and its product. It felt really positive and exciting!

Marketing
I was contacted by a recruiter and had a very brief initial call. Following that, I went through 4 rounds of interviews but was ultimately rejected without any feedback. A few weeks later, the company reached out again about a different open role. Although hesitant, I decided to re-engage because I was very interested in working there. I spoke with the recruiter again to understand why they were re-contacting me and to learn about the new position. I then interviewed with the hiring manager, and received another rejection two days later, again with no feedback and minimal communication from the recruiter. This whole experience felt incredibly disrespectful of my time.

Member Experience Phone Support Manager
I recently had a phone screen with this company and followed up a week later, but unfortunately, I received an automatic rejection within an hour. While I found this a bit discourteous, I'm actually relieved about their decision after reading the reviews of the Member Experience team members. Based on their feedback, it seems that working for this company might not be the best experience. During the phone screen, I was informed that the company was looking to hire new agents for their phone support, which is a new form of communication with customers. However, when I asked if any existing agents would also take calls, I was told no. This contradicts what I've read in the reviews, which suggests that whoever takes on this role would have to deal with a lot of unhappy agents.
