First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Caliber Schools.
Teacher
I applied and filled out an application online. They sent an email to get my availability and set up an interview, and I had an interview over the phone. The process was really smooth and the person I talked to on the phone was lovely.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Speech Language Pathologist
It started with a phone screen from HR, then a phone interview with the department manager. HR's follow-up was pretty bad, they could definitely improve their communication. I had to end up calling the department manager myself to see if I made it to the next round, and they said yes. In the end, it just wasn't a good fit for either of us and it didn't work out.
- Can you describe the IEP process?
- How do you feel about traveling between different sites?
- What is your previous experience working with children?
Special Education Classroom Assistant
I applied online and then they emailed me back within 2 days to schedule a phone interview. After that, I had an ice breaker with students and an in-person interview. There was a follow up call with follow up questions from principals. Finally, they checked my references.
- The principals asked many questions regarding culture and diversity.
