First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Calero.
Administrative Assistant
I arrived and sat down, I started by introducing myself, then I was asked at least 5 interview questions. The first was to talk about myself, the second was to know what my skills are, and the third was to know why I wanted this position. I answered them all with firmness and courage.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your skills?
- Why do you want this job?
MDM Analyst
The first interview was a 30-minute video call to talk about my background and experience. Then I got an Excel assessment, which was pretty simple. After that, there was a second video interview that dug deeper into my experience, skills, and what I knew about the company. I was also sent another Excel assessment. The interviewers were both really nice and easy to talk to!
- Tell me what you know about Calero and this role.
Audit Analyst
The interview process involved two rounds with HR and the director. It was a smooth and professional experience. I learned more about the company's operations and its clients. We discussed how I could contribute to Calero's success and what I bring to the team.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you describe a time you demonstrated competence?
- Tell me about a situation that showcases your abilities.
Associate
Had a pleasant interview and they asked for a case study. It was pretty standard. During the interview, the recruiter kept saying they would keep me updated on the process because they know that some companies ghost applicants, and they said that wasn't right. They kept emphasizing that they never ghost, unprompted. It was a little strange how much they mentioned it at the time, but I thought that was great. Guess what happened after all of that? They ghosted me! I sent a short polite follow up and got no response to that either. Ghosting after an interview sucks, but ghosting after an interview and case study is inexcusable.
- Tell me about a time you had to pivot on a project.
