So the whole interview thing was absolutely the best I've ever gone through! I really wanted to work there from the jump. The recruiter was awesome, kept me in the loop daily, and everyone I talked to during the interviews was super engaging. It went like this: first a chat with the recruiter, then a one-on-one with the hiring manager, then a panel interview where I also had to give a short presentation. After that, they made me an offer!

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was long, but it felt shorter, more human, and accessible compared to other companies. The recruiter was genuine and honest, providing extra context and answering questions, so I always knew what was next. Even though it's still a long process, they seem to have simplified it. The presentation part was only 30 minutes, and the 1x1s were flexible. It felt like they were curious about how I work and communicate, not trying to see if I'd conform. Everyone spoke authentically and gave feedback, making it feel less like a guessing game. Gathering references was more time-consuming than I expected, using a self-serve platform with interview-like questions, a self-survey, and four references. I was losing steam then, so I hope this part is simplified too. My advice for this stage is to take it in stride and give your references a heads up about the survey. My recruiter also helped when a reference was slow to respond, so let them know if you have questions or delays.

Calendly's interview process is quite lengthy, though they do outline it on their website. It can be tough to manage if you're interviewing elsewhere. I had to withdraw because I got other offers. Maybe they could shorten the time between steps or combine presentations. The recruiter was great and honest.
