It was a contract job posting. I sent over my info via email. Later, they got back to me and I had a quick phone call with the recruiter and then the contracting company. They offered me the contract that same day.

The interview process went super smooth. It was all virtual interviews with a recruiter, a regional director, and the VP of Sales. After the first three rounds, there was an in-person interview at the office I was applying to. Everyone was really nice and kept in touch easily throughout.

This was a waste of time. The recruiter didn't even take the time to look at my resume. When I elaborated on the "tell me about yourself" question, she said she was looking for someone more senior.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter reached out to me for a contract recruiter position at a large organization in Austin. She seemed inexperienced, asking repetitive questions. I have 8 years of full-cycle and sourcing recruiting experience, with a prior title as a sourcing specialist, which she considered a red flag. I explained it's similar to recruiting but with less stakeholder interaction, but she disagreed. She scheduled a video interview for the same day and asked the exact same questions as the phone call, which felt like a waste of time. She also seemed confused about bill rates versus pay rates for contractors, giving conflicting information and then stating I was out of range. I withdrew my application, feeling her inexperience would not represent me well.
