Quality Assurance Engineer
The interview process was really long and they didn't make the requirements clear. The job description didn't match what they asked in the interview. They also threw in extra interviews for specific topics, but the interviewer seemed clueless about them, saying they didn't know why they were asked to interview me. HR was hard to reach; besides the scheduling email, they never replied to follow-ups or any other emails. It made me question if they even have an in-house HR. Someone who was in touch throughout the process, checking on my interest and feedback, just disappeared after the interviews were done. After over 1.5 months of interviewing, I got an automated rejection email, even after trying to reach out to HR and the contact person. Super unprofessional. The job market is tough, so candidates can't be too picky, but be careful and try to avoid this messy company if possible.

Technical Support Analyst
I had an initial interview with the Sr Manager of Global Technical Support and a Sr Analyst. It was a good, smooth, conversational interview. Then, I received an invite for a second interview on two different days and times, with a different person mentioned each time. The recruiter explained it was a split interview, and the invite mentioned interviewing with the same people as before. When I joined the first part of the split interview, someone different, a director-level person whose name I don't recall, was on the Teams call. The interview went well. However, the second half of the split interview was canceled by the recruiter with no explanation. Throughout the week, I tried to get an update from the recruiter via four text messages and an email, but I only received the rejection letter. The recruiter's conduct was very unprofessional; she refused to speak with me even if there was no update. This is what people mean by getting ghosted. She did not represent Calamp well. It's their loss, as my experience and background would have been very beneficial for Calamp and myself. I won't be pursuing any more opportunities with Calamp due to the recruiter's unprofessional behavior, especially since she couldn't even manage sending out interview invites correctly. What a joke.

Database Administrator
I talked to my direct manager first, who asked general stuff about my past jobs like expected. Then he really dug into how I'd fix the problems they have. I told him my ideas and he pushed for more info, so I gave him more details. That went pretty good. Then I met some other managers, similar chat. The last part was a group interview with 5 people on the panel. The tech questions were pretty easy, maybe because 3 of the staff were new and seemed a bit unsure. They asked about different OS and databases, like postgres and mongodb. It wasn't too hard or stressful. No whiteboard stuff. Maybe they needed someone fast, which could explain why the tests were easy. That seemed to be the situation here.

Administrative Assistant
Had a great experience. Started with a 45-minute phone interview where I discussed my skills with the recruiter. The next day, I got an email to schedule the next interview. On the interview day, my recruiter met me in person and gave me a tour of the offices before I met with executives for a 30-minute session. I was invited back for a second interview within a week, which was another 30-minute session. The interviewers were punctual, courteous, and welcoming. I got a job offer within hours after the second interview.
