Had a quick phone chat first, then a longer in-person one. They were really nice and took their time with my questions. Got the offer fast after the interview and could start right away.

I found the job on craigslist and they emailed me to set up a phone interview. It went well so I had a zoom interview the next day. That also went well! The manager told me she'd compare notes with the other interviewer and then, if I passed, I'd speak with one of the owners. The owner called me super fast, like 10 minutes later, but I almost missed it! He was really rude and, like, subtly insulted my whole career. It sounded like he thought I was a failure at everything. I could barely hear him because his connection was so bad. He hung up saying they'd let me know after he talked to the three people who interviewed me. I sent a thank-you note the next day and followed up a few days later, but I NEVER heard back! I saw another ad later on craigslist for the same job, but for $15/hour instead of the $18-21 they originally posted. Total bait and switch. So glad I didn't end up working there!

The first person I met was fine, but then one of the owners came in, and he was kind of a snob. We definitely didn't click. I've worked in coffee shops before, but he seemed really picky about it, and I got a strange feeling from him. Good thing I won't be working there.
