First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cafe Coffee Day.
Sales Trainee
Super easy process, the best actually. Wonderful experience overall. The people were nice and the decision-making was very quick. It felt professional, and the steps were clear. No office politics, just a straightforward approach. They value quick thinking and there was no nonsense. It's a fast-paced environment with no time wasted. Really nice hospitality too.
- Can you tell me where you're from?
- What are you up to right now?
Human Resources Trainee
After my CV was shortlisted, there was just one interview round. They primarily assessed my communication skills and energy levels. I was asked to give a pitch for the company and maybe one or two technical questions specific to the role. Having a basic understanding should be enough to clear it. Don't let the interviewer's comments about your state of mind get to you; mine suggested I was nervous, which seemed to have an effect.
- What makes you the right candidate for us?
- What are your reasons for choosing CCD?
- Can you explain your understanding of the role and why we should hire you?
Billing Assistant
First, you gotta apply. You can do this through the Cafe Coffee Day career portal, their website, or other job sites. Make sure your resume and cover letter really show off your experience and what you can do. Then, the HR folks will look at all the applications and pick out the ones that seem like a good fit based on the job requirements. If you make the cut, they might call or email you to set up a phone interview. This call is usually to chat about your background, your work history, why you want to work at CCD, and some basic questions about how you handle different situations.
- Could you tell me about your previous work experiences and your successes in those roles?
Store Manager Trainee
There were two rounds in the interview process. The first round was resume shortlisting and the second round was a personal interview. My advice is to just be confident and always tell the truth. I was a bit nervous, but it was a very easy interview. Make sure to read about the company and your area of interest.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Do you have any technical questions?
- Do you have any personal questions?
