I had 2 phone calls and then a session where I did some light coding. It was to make sure I understood basic stuff like OOP, data structures, and functional programming. Since I just graduated, it was pretty chill.

I applied in mid-February, and then got the first call to set up an interview schedule two weeks later. The interview itself was a week after that. I got the offer a week after the interview, so the whole thing took a bit over a month. The interview was about an hour long and had tech and behavioral questions from the hiring manager and one staff member. The vibe was really nice and comfortable; they knew it was my first internship so they didn't expect me to know everything. Most of the tech questions were about OOP, Linux commands, and my past projects.

Behavioral

The interview lasted about two hours. It was a one-on-one with the supervisor. He mostly asked about my past experience and didn't really focus on my resume, even though he had it right there. I got the job offer and took it. A few weeks in, he mentioned he was surprised by how much I'd achieved and that he didn't realize I was so talented. This suggests he didn't thoroughly review my resume, as all my skills were listed from the start.
