First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Caddell Construction.
Electrical Engineer
It was all in English, so be prepared for that. Spoke with an American recruiter who was nice. They asked about personal life, experiences, and values. My English was a bit rusty, so I didn't do great. It's a North American culture company where they work every day and pay by the hour.
- What salary were you willing to accept?
- Were you employed?
- Were you married and did you have children?
Quality Control Manager
The interview process was pretty thorough and lasted about four hours. I met with different managers, which really showed me how professional their management team is. The HR manager was great about following up and even gave me the names and positions of everyone I'd be meeting before I got there. Their HR department was really impressive and professional overall. It was a good experience.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you encountered where you successfully turned it into a positive outcome?
Project Engineer
First, you'll have a phone chat with HR to get acquainted and discuss your background. Then, you'll meet with a project manager and a project engineer who will ask about scenarios and how you'd approach them. The next step is meeting a construction executive and someone from operations who want to learn about you and your experience.
- Tell me about a time you faced challenges with an operational change and how you managed it.
Estimator
I went to the company's main office and met with multiple people from the team I might join. I talked to each of them one-on-one in their offices. The interviews took a few hours. HR was involved, starting and ending the process and bringing me to and from the department.
- Tell me about your relevant experience.
- How does your work ethic align with the department's?
