I went to a job walk for a university AGC student chapter at one of Driver's residential projects and talked with the senior PM there. About a week later, I got an email asking if I'd like to interview for an internship. Since I said I wanted to go the field route and eventually be a superintendent, Chris Butler, the general superintendent, interviewed me. The interview was about 40 minutes and didn't feel much like an interview. I told Chris why I wanted to become a super, and he shared his construction experiences and why he enjoys being a superintendent. I couldn't accept an offer because I couldn't start soon enough, but the interview and job walk made a good impression of the company.

The interview process was great and low-stress. The management seemed like genuine people when I first met them. However, once they got you in the door, it was a different scenario. I was interviewing with two companies at the time and wish I had taken one of the other job offers.
