First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at C-Level Connections.
Sales Development Representative
The interviewer was so unprofessional I almost ended the interview early. I asked a simple question, to which he replied, “why would they matter to you?” I don’t know how people like this are employed as recruiters. I wouldn’t waste my time here.
- Are you okay with making 150 calls daily?
Business Development Manager
I had a brief chat with the founder, which was really nice and informative. Right after that, I did a phone interview with the account manager, team lead, and CEO. They talked about the company's history and how well they've done so far. Then they discussed the role and asked me some questions.
- Why are you a good candidate for this role?
Relationship Manager
They start with a quick 10-minute phone call to see if you get what the job is about and if you're okay with talking to people on the phone since that's a big part of it. If they dig you, you'll come in for an in-person chat with the Inside Sales Manager and the President. They'll want to know about your background, both work and school. I think asking good questions was key for me to get the offer.
- Tell me what qualifies you for this role.
- What experience do you have that's relevant?
- What's your motivation for wanting to work here?
Appointment Setter
The initial interview was a phone call. The recruiter had technical difficulties and hung up multiple times. She seemed young and not very experienced. Her questions were pretty standard. I was also annoyed that the job posting didn't mention it was a 1099 position until I asked, which felt like a waste of my time.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- How many appointments were you able to set each week?
- What aspects of appointment setting do you enjoy?
