Got invited to an interview quickly. The vibe was really nice and relaxed, with very positive feedback. Then, radio silence for months. Every 4 weeks, I got what seemed like an automated email titled 'Interim Update', saying things were still unfortunately dragging on.

Had a really nice and informative chat. The people I spoke with were very likeable. They asked about my career journey in my own words and why I applied. Based on my resume, they offered several positions to choose from. Unfortunately, the position that seemed like a good fit was already filled internally.

Starting with a friendly welcome at the location by my designated contact person, up to the pleasant atmosphere in the meeting room where the conversation took place, I am extremely positive. Regarding the interview process: After a personal introduction of the participants (HR + future supervisor), the company and the department were also extensively introduced. Afterwards, I was also supposed to introduce myself and present both my experiences and my expectations. I would like to explicitly highlight the questions about the things that personally motivate the applicant or are important to them in a workplace.
