First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BVK.
Market Research Analyst
It was a straightforward and relaxed interview process. The interviewer made me feel at ease, emphasizing that it's an entry-level role. There were no challenging or misleading questions.
- Tell me about your experience using statistical software.
Account Executive
It took about a month to hear back after applying, and the answer was no via email. Then a week later, I received another email asking me to come in for an interview for a different position that had opened up, which was similar to the one I originally applied for. I had two in-person interviews where I met with the whole team each time. Both interviews felt very similar in content, and I'm not sure why they repeated the same process without bringing in new people or asking new questions.
- What motivates your interest in an account-focused role?
Search Analyst
I talked with the director of the search analyst department for about 30 minutes. We reviewed my resume and discussed day-to-day responsibilities. Then, I had a similar 30-minute conversation with the person reporting to him. It's highly recommended to be Google AdWords certified for this type of role. One downside was having to repeatedly follow up even after the position had been filled.
- Can you tell me about your knowledge of paid search?
Art Director
The team members seemed nice and really excited. I had one phone call, and then nothing. I know a bunch of people who work at the company, so I figured I'd at least get an in-person meeting.
- Can you describe the projects you have been involved in?
