Inside Sales Representative
The CEO is intense and direct, asking tough questions to really get to know how you think. It was one of the most thorough interview processes I’ve ever gone through. You will also take a personality exam and receive the results, which is really cool even if you don’t get the job. It lays out where you will excel in your career and how your personality brings strengths to different job types. Which can help you find a good job in the future just incase you feel a little lost! The CEO's direct attitude can scare people off, but I’ve been in sales for awhile, so I actually really enjoyed him. If you don’t let yourself get intimidated, you may really admire his drive, and understand that he doesn’t have time to ask ‘fluff’ questions, he just wants to get down to business and needs to decide quickly if you are the right fit for him or not. He has a vision for these positions and is looking for very specific people to help him achieve his goals for his company. I could see him being an incredible mentor to anyone who gets the position. Whoever takes a job from him should feel proud that you are the specific individual who he feels will help him grow his business. If you’re a super driven sales person, take the interview, it isn’t like every other interview you’ve had. My advise is to really think about each response and don’t give cliche answers, be honest, direct and focused. I won’t give out all the interview questions I was asked because I honestly think it’s different for everyone, but he’s trying to figure out if you are driven, have a plan and will work harder than everyone else to exceed.
- What is your five year plan
Marketing Specialist
The EA reached out to me first to complete some questionnaires. They were very nice. Then I was offered an interview. The interviewer was pretty late, like 25 minutes late. The first question they asked was 'it's been a long day, why should I even interview you?' and I had to remind them of the position I was applying for. The rest of the questions were similarly rude. It seemed like they were trying to be intimidating, but it just felt unprofessional. I decided to withdraw from the hiring process.
- What questions would you ask when hiring for this role?
Agent
The process involves several steps designed to assess your drive and enthusiasm for your future career. They're looking for individuals with a growth mindset who embrace challenges. They'll be upfront about the demanding nature of the job, but also highlight the potential rewards. There's no limit to your earning potential, and they'll guide you on how to increase your income.
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
Executive Assistant
I was brought into a room and asked about my experience. As I started to talk about my work history, the interviewer looked at my resume. Before I could finish, he said I didn't seem like a good fit. Then he asked for my personality test results, which I had already sent them. He clearly didn't prepare. He just glanced at it and said I wouldn't work out. The rest of the interview was just as bad, with him criticizing me and acting like I was wasting his time. I don't mind if I'm not a good candidate, but they shouldn't have interviewed me if that was the case. It makes no sense to call someone in without looking at their information and then imply they're wasting your time. After this interview, I wouldn't want to work there anyway. It's easy to see why they've had two people in this role in less than a month; he's clearly not someone you'd want to work with daily.
