Got contacted about a week after applying online, and set up a phone interview. Had a 30-minute call with the Director of Operations. Then, I was invited to the office for an in-person interview the next week. It lasted about an hour and I spoke with the Director of Operations & Research and the Director of Marketing. It was a really comfortable chat where I got to talk about my past experiences from school, internships, and summer jobs. They clearly laid out the duties and expectations for the internship, and all my questions were answered easily. A few days later, I got a call offering me the position and an email with more details.

An associate emailed me asking if I was looking for a job. After some back and forth emails, she set up an interview with me and an executive recruiter. The recruiter called on time and things seemed good at first. They asked a lot about my last job and why I left it, almost like a legal interrogation. After the Q&A, they asked if I was open to relocating. I said yes, and they brought up a job in another state with a company I really don't want to work for due to past bad experiences as a customer. I told them I wasn't interested in that company. Right after that, the call ended abruptly. I haven't heard from them since, which I found surprising given their professional appearance.

I had 4 interviews: first, a half-hour chat with the recruiter about general interest, past experience, credentials, and salary expectations. Second, a one-hour phone interview with the hiring manager, mostly technical questions on big data, model building, and statistics. Third, a one-hour phone interview with the technical lead of the Analytics team, covering both business and technical topics. Fourth, a one and a half hour on-site interview with other team members, where I was asked behavioral questions.
