I applied for one job but got a call from HR about a different one they thought I was a better fit for. We had a 40-minute chat, and she decided to pass my resume on for interviews at their DC office. The in-person interview was two parts. First, I met the managers I'd be working with, and they seemed impressed and said I'd get an email about the next step. Then, I met the HR manager again to talk more about the job and what's next. She said I'd hear back in 4 days and I definitely would be moving to the second phase. A few days after that, I emailed her, but no response. A couple of weeks later, I sent another email to her and the two managers, still no word on if they were moving forward or if I was out. It's been a month, and despite being told I was a perfect fit and would hear back, I haven't gotten any contact about the position.

HR reached out after seeing my LinkedIn profile. The initial call went well, and she mentioned an in-person interview. However, she went on vacation without confirming details. Upon her return, she stated the role was no longer available but encouraged me to stay in touch. We later scheduled another interview, which was canceled last minute. By the time we finally set up a third interview, I had already accepted another offer. The whole experience felt very disorganized and like a waste of time.

I applied online and heard back from them via email a few days later to set up a phone interview. The HR person rescheduled the call three times and then was late calling me. Even though that put me off the company, I still did the interview and scheduled a second phone call. That interview was super short, only ten minutes, and the HR person wanted to schedule an in-person interview towards the end. She said she'd email with an official time within 48 hours. I followed up by email after 48 hours and found out they'd already chosen another candidate, even after trying to schedule me for an in-person.
