Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Burson Cohn & Wolfe.
Account Supervisor
It was a pretty standard interview process, and my interactions with everyone were very positive. It did take a while to get through everything, but the communication was consistently positive and responsive.
- Were general interview questions asked?
Account Manager
I really enjoyed talking with BCW. It was an early-stage interview to see if we were a good fit, so they asked questions about whether my experience fit and if BCW was what I was looking for. They genuinely want to hire the right people. I got a good sense of their culture, and it sounds like a great place to work. I decided to look for other types of work, but this is the one place that made me reconsider. Their team seems competent, positive, and really cares about finding the right people.
- What are your career aspirations and what are you seeking in a role?
- Could you clarify if your experience lies within product communications or corporate communications?
Account Supervisor
The interview process felt fair, but I don't think it was thorough enough to really tell if someone had the right skills for the specific jobs within the agency. It would be better if they had a more focused process to make sure people are put in roles that match their expertise that they talked about or were recruited for. This would help avoid bad hires and make hiring smoother from HR to the account team.
- Can you discuss your previous experience and any recognition you've received in the industry?
