The hiring process was quite slow and frankly quite frustrating. It felt like HR needed to be chased every couple of weeks to get any kind of update. They seemed to keep interviewing people, making candidates wait a long time, and it felt like they were stringing people along until they found their absolute favorite, while rejecting everyone else. I didn't sense much sincerity, making it a really poor experience.

The interview process kicked off with an HR phone call where we talked about my background and career interests. The HR rep also filled me in on the project details and what the job would entail. Next up was a face-to-face chat with two project managers. This part was all about diving into my previous experience and projects, and how my skills would fit with what they're doing now. The managers were super approachable and professional, and the discussion revolved around practical work situations, not really any tough technical stuff.
